Soft Sage Hatching Eggs

$9.00Price

Soft Sage Layers is the name we've given our line of olive eggers with a heavy bloom. We have meticulously selected and crossbred to produce this line, and are thrilled with the heavy blooms these hens lay over their eggs! We are excited to share that every pullet for our 2023-2024 lines lay an egg with a heavy bloom! Approximately 1/2 of these birds will continue laying heavy blooms over their eggs throughout their full laying cycle, while the other 1/2 will produce these beautiful green eggs with a lighter bloom as their laying cycle continues. These are definite gems in our egg baskets! These birds have added quite the fun egg color/bloom genetics to our Woodland olive egger line! The birds are elegant, light framed, and come in a variety of feather patterns.

You can read more about our heavily bloomed Soft Sage Layers on my Blog post "What is the bloom on a chicken egg?" and on Our Breeds Page

Although all of our 2023-2024 hens lay a heavily bloomed egg, please be aware that there is a chance this trait may not be present. As always, I will share the best hatching eggs available with our customers durring the hatching season.
