Frequently Asked Questions
At our small farm, we are dedicated to caring for our farm and animals 24/7. We do not operate on set business hours as everything, from collecting eggs to lovingly preparing chicks for shipment, is done by us personally. While we do not have a dedicated customer support service, we strive to answer emails and inquiries in a timely manner. However, it's important to note that as a family-run farm, we also prioritize caring for our family and other animals on the farm. Please remember to check our FAQs or the many pages on our website before asking a question that is already covered. Thank you for understanding and respecting our time.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer visits to our farm due to NPIP (National Poultry Improvement Plan) biosecurity regulations. To maintain our NPIP certification, we must restrict visitors to prevent the spread of diseases among our cherished flocks. This restriction is especially important given recent avian influenza outbreaks. We understand your enthusiasm to see our heritage and unique egg color flocks of chickens, ducks, and quail in person, but for the health and safety of our birds, no exceptions can be made. Additionally, during the busy summer months, I meet with many local customers for order pickups, and I wouldn't be able to accommodate every tour request even if we could. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to helping us ensure the health and safety of our flocks. Thank you!
If you would like to see more of our farm life and flocks, be sure to follow us on Instagram @cluckandquack. I enjoy sharing photos and videos of our farm and the going ons with our flocks and other farm critters!
NPIP stands for the National Poultry Improvement Plan, a program aimed at controlling certain poultry diseases to improve poultry and poultry products. Cluck and Quack Farm is NPIP certified, which means our birds have been tested and are free from certain diseases, ensuring healthy and disease-free flocks. By being NPIP certified, we prioritize the health and welfare of our birds and adhere to strict biosecurity measures. Additionally, without our NPIP certification, we would be unable to ship chicks.
