Are you looking for hatching eggs to start your own flock or expand your existing one? We have hatching eggs available at different times throughout the hatching season. We only sell our "Rainbow Dozen Hatching Eggs" in groups of 12. All other listings are for individual eggs, so you can mix and match your order however you would like!

Our chick hatching season is from March through October. I can only offer what hatching eggs may be available in excess of what I need to hatch for pre-ordered chicks and our regular eating egg customers. I so appreciate your interest, but please keep this in mind when contacting us with special hatching egg requests as we are a small family farm and do not have a customer support team.

Please note:
Listed hatching eggs will ship or be picked up the week they are ordered. We do not have pre-order hatching eggs available weeks in advance. I am better able to judge what flocks will be laying how many eggs for the upcoming week from each breed vs guessing for pre-orders in advance. Plus, I get very stressed when the hens decide to get broody or take a little egg break right when I need to fill pre-orders for hatching eggs. 🥴

Our Hatching/Egg season has officially closed for the 2025! Thank you all for your support and eggcitement about our flocks! Please remember to add your email to the box "Email Me When Available" for the hatching egg or chicks you are interested in, and we will send you an email the moment they are available again in 2026! We always give an early heads-up to our subscribers, so feel free to join our mailing list! Thank you so much for supporting our small farm! Have a wonderful fall and winter!
Shipping Hatching Eggs
Our eggs are shipped out on Monday, Wednesday or Friday after you place your order.
***We can ship up to 36 eggs (3 dozen) per order. If your order consists of more than 36 eggs, please place a second order to cover shipping.
Shipped eggs are 3 days old or less.
We take extra care to ship the eggs in a styrofoam shipper to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. Additionally, we will properly mark the box for your local post office to hold them at the post office and call you to pick them up.

Local Pickup
We offer local pickup to Orofino, Idaho on Friday or Saturday exclusively. When placing your order, simply select local pickup in your shipping options, and we will reach out to you with the pickup information for the upcoming Friday/Saturday afternoon. Please check FAQs for more information.
Hatching Egg Guarantee
While we guarantee that our eggs will arrive intact and beautiful, please note that hatching results may vary even if you are experienced. Due to the variable nature of incubation, hatch rates can be influenced by factors such as handling, temperature, humidity, and transportation, among others. We take great care in selecting, delivering, and shipping our eggs, but we cannot control the conditions in which they are incubated. Although we hope you have wonderful hatches, we cannot guarantee your hatch rates. Thank you for understanding.
