Bielefelder Hatching Eggs
We love our Bielefelders! They are German-bred birds with striking gold, chestnut, and barred plumage, making them a standout in any coop. Our Bielefelder roosters are striking, and the lovely hens with chestnut red feathers are also excellent egg layers, producing large, brown eggs on a consistent basis. Bielefelders are known for their calm and friendly temperament. Did I mention they are large? Our Bielefelder roosters can reach a whopping 10+ pounds, making them an impressive presence in any flock, while the hens typically weigh in at a respectable 7-8 pounds. When breeding our Bielefelders, we focus on egg size and production and the chestnut red feathers on the hens plumage. With their striking appearance, high egg production, and gentle nature, these birds are a favorite among our flocks.

At hatch males will be lighter with a yellow/white dot on their heads and females will be darker/without dot. This autosexing trait will be passed down to purebred offspring.

Our eggs are shipped out on Monday, Wednesday or Friday after you place your order.
Shipped eggs are 3 days old or less.
We take extra care to ship the eggs in a styrofoam shipper to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. Additionally, we will properly mark the box for your local post office to hold them at the post office and call you to pick them up.

We take great care in selecting, delivering, and shipping our eggs, but we cannot control the conditions in which they are incubated.
